Presentation of the Layman’s report on the project and the Manual of Good Practices at the final day of the LIFE BATTLECO2 project

LIFE Battle CO2 Project Wins 2019 BAP Best Environmental Practices Award

Eduardo Vara, director of conservation and R&D of Construcciones y Obras Llorente (COLLOSA), has received this morning the MPA Award that recognizes the environmental contribution of the LIFE Battle CO2 project in which the Valladolid corporation participates together with the Cartif Foundation and the Spanish Road Technology Platform (PTCarretera).

On 24 April, the final project event of the LIFE BATTLECO2 initiative took place in the Sala Europa of the European Commission building in Madrid. The main technical results of the project were presented by CARTIF and COLLOSA.

COLLOSA obtains a Product Environmental Declaration for the bituminous mixture applied in one of the test sections of the BattleCO2 project

Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) solve this problem by providing environmental impact assessments endorsed by external certifying bodies. In this case, Collosa has obtained the DAP for a mixture AC16 surf 50/70 S endorsed by the EPD program of Environdec.
